If it isn’t already obvious, I have a passion for politics and for people. My interest runs so deep that I also wrote as the Boston Nonpartisan Examiner for Examiner.com*, an online news source.
For as long as I can remember, I have held the belief that people can accomplish a lot, for good or ill, when they choose to work together. On many occasions, I have seen first hand the wonders that people can create when they put aside their differences. I believe that the key to attaining anything requires discussions, so long as they don’t deteriorate into harangues with insults being exchanged at every opportunity.
Though I try to remain neutral on most issues, I will at times play Devil’s advocate for either side. Don’t assume that just because I may take a stance, that is what I wholeheartedly believe–I am doing so primarily to move along discussions.
For those who might take offense to what has been posted, simply avert your eyes as was so elegantly written by the Supreme Court in Cohen v. California 403 U.S. 15 (1971).
*Examiner was purchased by AEG and merged with AXS, a ticket merchant. As of July 10, 2016 the Examiner webpage was permanently shut down.
